Antwerp Postman Optimizer

Postal Route Optimizer

A few years ago, my buddy Steve and I had this crazy idea. We wanted to figure out a way to drive all the different streets of our hometown, Antwerp, Belgium, in the most efficient way possible. We experimented with a couple of ways to do that, but could not really find a convenient way to calculate the most efficient route. Today, Claude Code and other AI tools have helped me create a little app that makes this super super easy. All you need to do is put in the post code and push the button, and it calculates the route for you and allows you to export the GPX. Have fun!

Enter one or more postcodes, comma-separated. Adjacent postcodes will be merged into one route.

Routing Mode

When checked, roads explicitly tagged as dual carriageways in OSM (dual_carriageway=yes) are only traversed once instead of both directions, reducing unnecessary backtracking on major divided roads.
